We’re a bit a late on this one, but it’s worth mentioning that finally, after nearly two weeks of hysteria, some sanity has appeared on the swine flu front. Schools across the nation are reopening their doors, including Berkeley’s Malcolm X Elementary. The reopenings followed a decision by federal officials to rescind their recommendation for school closures when a student tested positive for the virus. We’re also glad to see that the swine flu non-story is finally off the front page.
