The illness is a setback for the ex-Hewlett Packard CEO, because polls show that she needs to make up ground on Barbara Boxer before Election Day. The hospitalization also reminds voters that Fiorina is campaigning to overturn Obama’s health-care reform law, even though it will provide coverage to more than 30 million uninsured Americans.
