Schwarzenegger Blames Mail for Tax Problem

Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is blaming his decision to cut off all mail to his home for why he was unaware of his federal tax problems. According to the Chron, the governor’s office says all mail sent to his house gets returned to sender, so he never saw the warning letters from the IRS. The agency ultimately placed a lien on his property, saying he owes $79,000 in back taxes from 2004 and 2005.
