The US Coast Guard has given up its search for missing Oakland Raiders linebacker Marquis Cooper. Cooper was lost at sea when his fishing boat overturned in rough waters Saturday in the Gulf of Mexico off the Florida coast. Rescued fisherman Nick Schuyler told the Coast Guard that he last saw Cooper and his other friends at about 2 a.m. Monday. Also lost was former San Francisco 49ers defensive end Corey Smith.
