1. Governor Jerry Brown delayed a BART strike for at least one week, appointing a panel to investigate the stalled negotiations, the SFGate reports. BART workers had been prepared last night to launch their second strike in the past month until Brown intervened at the request of BART board member Tom Radulovich. The governor-appointed panel will investigate the breakdown in negotiations and then Brown will decided next week whether to call for a sixty-day cooling off period.
