More demos over the killing of Oscar Grant by a BART cop are coming to Oakland, sez the Trib. Tomorrow afternoon, a group calling itself the Coalition Against Police Executions will hold a rally outside City Hall; one demo organizer said they’re working on ways to contain the masked anarchists who showed up last week. Solidarity rallies will be held in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Arkansas. Uhuru House will hold a march near the Oakland Police Department on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, and a group of Grant’s old classmates are set to rally outside BART on February 27.
