Berkeley author Michael Lewis’ book, The Blind Side, has been optioned for the movie treatment for a reported $1.5 million. According to a story in the UK Guardian, Renee Zellweger has been signed to play the foster mother of Lewis’ main character, an illiterate Memphis orphan with a gift for playing left tackle.
