Could Chevron Ties Scuttle NSA Candidate?

Looks like James Jones, the retired Marine General who’s on the short list to be Obama’s National Security Advisor, might see some problems thanks to his ties to the San Ramon oil giant Chevron. Jones sits on the boards of Chevron and Boeing, The Hill reports, and since both companies do substantial business with the government, critics worry that the conflict of interest may keep Jones from performing his duties.
