Looks like Alameda County Superior Court Judge Robert Freedman is in a bit of trouble, according to the latest edition of the Recorder (subscription required). Freedman has been hauled in front of the state Commission on Judicial Performance thanks to his alleged habit of waiting as long as a year and a half past the requisite 90-day period in which judges must announce their rulings. According to the Recorder, Freedman copped to most of the charges on Tuesday, but claimed he did the best he could. So do we all, your honor.
