This weekend, The Novelists will perform in the Bay Area for the first time. The pop-rock band, originally from Reno, Nev., is known for its four-part harmonizing and storytelling-like approach to music. The quartet — Joel Ackerson, Eric Andersen, Zack Teran, and Miguel Jimenez-Cruz — has been busy recording, producing videos, and traveling for its big tour.
