Caltrans reopened the Bay Bridge this morning after crews worked all night to fix a crack in the span. The crack, which was discovered over the weekend during a routine inspection when the bridge was closed for reconstruction, was expected to keep the bridge closed until 5 a.m. tomorrow. But workers fixed the problem overnight and the span reopened today at about 6:30 a.m.
