Although a Superior Court judge ordered the University of California’s service employees not to walk off their jobs last Friday, union leaders say they will launch the five-day strike regardless of what any guy in a robe says. According to the Chron, service and medical workers have been in contentions negotiations with UC management for months, but this week’s planned strike is only going to involve service employees such as cooks and custodians.
