Two Cal professors will be among the 24 2009 MacArthur fellows named today. Lin He, a cancer researcher, works in cellular biology and is researching the role of microRNAs in the development of cancer. Maneesh Agrawala, a computer scientist, designs ways to help us understand large quantities of complex information. With the selection comes a $500,000 award.
