The father of Oakland Raiders’ linebacker Marquis Cooper said this mornning that the Coast Guard’s hopes of finding the player and his friends are waning. The victims, which also include former San Francisco 49ers player Corey Smith, likely have been in the water for more than 72 hours and surely have suffered from hypothermia.
