The Outside Lands Music Festival continues to expand its after-hours programming, even as it scales back its festival from three days to two this year. Yesterday, promoters announced the lineup for shows happening after the festival. Performers include Levon Helm, Jimmy Cliff, Hercules and Love Affair, Tokyo Police Club, Freelance Whales, and Pretty Lights. A special event in conjunction with the California Academy of Sciences’ weekly “NightLife” happens on Thursday August 12. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, July 21, at 10 a.m. at SFOutsideLands.com.
