The biggest Early Music festival west of the Mississippi happens right here in Berkeley. The 20th annual Berkeley Festival & Exhibition will be held June 6 through 13 at venues throughout the city, and will feature more than 35 concerts of local and out-of-town ensembles. Renaissance chanting, baroque folk and dance, and Dark Ages-era poetry from Northern Europe are among the fest’s offerings. For a full schedule and programming, go here.
