DeLauer’s, the downtown Oakland magazine and newspaper store that has been in operation for more than one hundred years, will stay open after all. Two local businessmen bought the store after word broke that it would close, and have plans to add an Internet cafe to see if that will pay the bills. According to the Chron, the new owners are also considering closing the store between midnight and five in the morning.
