Biking and Striking at Work

Two more items from the East Bay Business Times. Roughly twenty thousand University of California health and patient-care workers are about to vote on whether to strike after working for months without a new contract. Meanwhile, 100,000 people are expected to ride their bicycles to work this Thursday, driven in part by high gas prices. It’s just too bad that UC strike couldn’t happen sooner; employees could ride their bikes to the picket lines!
