Basque Dinner

At Camino

operation freedom paws, northern california non-profit, service dog training

To celebrate their new cookbook, The Basque Book, chefs Alex Raij and Eder Montero will pay a visit to Camino (3917 Grand Ave.) for a book signing and special dinner inspired by the cookbook (whose recipes come from Txikito, Raij and Montero’s Basque restaurant in New York City), prepared by Camino’s cooks in the restaurant’s wood fireplace. There will be pintxos (small bar snacks) aplenty and glasses of Basque cider included in the $120 (service-inclusive) price tag. If you think Spanish food is all tapas and paella, it’s a great opportunity to expand your horizons. Or, if you’re still reminiscing about that one summer you spent in Pamplona ten or twenty years ago — well, here’s your chance to relive your glory years. Tickets are available via Eventbrite.com, and copies of The Basque Book will be available for purchase at the restaurant.
