Now it’s possible, thanks to the joint efforts of AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint/Nextel, and Verizon. According to the Chronicle, the four companies have made wireless connections available to BART commuters who travel through the Transbay Tube. BART riders have been gradually getting access to more WiFi hotspots as they ride to and from work; now they even get it underwater.
