According to Matier and Ross, UC officials are mulling over where the UC Berkeley football team will play while Memorial Stadium is being seismically retrofitted. And regent Richard Blum, the husband of Senator Dianne Feinstein, is pushing to put the Bears games in Candlestick Park. The regents are expected to take up the issue at their San Francisco meeting today.
