Holy crap. If you were hoping to shell out nearly $1,000 to be within spitting distance of David Lee Roth, you’re out of luck. “Ultimate VIP” packages ($895 big ones) to the June 3 Van Halen show at Oracle Arena have sold out. Which means you will not get to sit in the front row, get a backstage tour, attend a pre-show party, get a gift bag, get parking, or have your own on-site VIP host. That said, you’ve got $595 and you don’t mind sitting in rows 2-11, you’re in luck! If you’ve only got $395, well, you could be within throwing distance of the stage. The rest of you 99 Percenters may have a decent chance of seeing David Lee Roth’s shiny shirts. Regular price tickets are $47.25-$142.50 (actually $61-$173.95 with Ticketmaster charges).
