Famed Berkeley writer Michael Lewis has been writing a series of Slate essays about the prospective birth of his third child, prompting Gawker to give him a bit of the old dagger in the eye. “He fails to mention that by giving his children the names of Quinn and Dixie (girls) and Walker (boy), he’s doomed them to lives of ridicule anyway,” the Gawker snarkmeisters snip, “Who does he think he is, Gwyneth Paltrow?” Note to self: never be famous.
