The Oakland Police Department search warrant scandal just keeps getting better. Now that the cops have admitted falsifying evidence to support search warrants, a judge has ordered two officers to meet with her next week and prove that their confidential informants, who allegedly bought the drugs used to obtain the search warrants, actually exist. Is this really how the OPD runs things? Are they really just making shit up to bust whoever looks at them funny while they’re driving down the street?
