It’s not just Google who wants a piece of Yelp. Elevation Partners, of which U2 singer Bono is a partner in, announced last week that it’s investing $25 million into the SF-based user-generated review site. According to the San Francisco Business Times, Elevation Partners will buy $25 million worth of preferred stock in Yelp, and eventually increase its total investment to $100 million.
