Lafayette fifth-grader Dreyson LeDoux, lost an eye Sunday
when another boy shot him during a state-run pheasant hunt for kids. Sure, it was an accident, but it begs the question: Why is it legal for kids to tote shotguns and aim them at fast-moving birds ?
