If you adore vegetables and long for a broad selection of meatless choices for lunch, you’ll have the time of your life at Bacheeso’s. As proclaimed by its motto, “Mediterranean Cuisine with European Touch,” proprietor Amir Asli’s midday buffet offers an amazing variety of such fresh-Med favorites as yellow squash soup, horiatiki salad, baba ghanoush, hummus, organic steamed vegetables, tomatoes with pesto, roasted potatoes, corn fritters, and rice pudding, with one or two carnivorous entrŽes like BBQ chicken thrown in. The all-you-care-to-eat price is $8 per person. Its bright corner location in the middle of the loft-and-workshop district of the Berkeley flats is also a plus. It even does catering. So what’s not to like?
