Chron Likes Tony Thurmond Too

Wow, is there something in the water or something? Now the Chron has come out for Tony Thurmond, and makes much the same points as MediaNews editors. Namely, that Berkeley residents have owned this seat long enough, and it’s time for someone else to come in and represent the East Bay in the state Assembly. Now, all the print dailies have thrown their weight behind Thurmond. Come June 3, we’ll see if this will make a difference against Nancy Skinner’s money and support from Loni Hancock.
