Alameda Returns: DeHaan and Gilmore

City Council incumbents Doug deHaan and Marie Gilmore easily won reelection, garnering 31% and 29%, respectively, in a four-person race. The top two vote getters won the election. The Don Perata machine had hoped to unseat deHaan with school board member Tracy Jensen, but came up short. Jensen got 23% of the vote.
