NY Times Thinks We’re Neat

Although the Times doesn’t think much of it as a work of art, the ideas promulgated by the book (locavore culture, recycling, etc.) have since become key elements to sustainable living. In fact, the author argues, Callenbach’s ecological urban vision essentially prefigured the city of Portland.
