Ledisi got a nice little profile boost last week when First Lady Michelle Obama told People Magazine that the Oakland R&B singer is one of her favorite artists on her iPod right now. “She’s got that really pretty voice,” Mrs. Obama said. In addition, Ledisi’s recent album, Turn Me Loose, has been nominated for two Grammys this year (the show broadcasts January 31). So when is Ledisi getting an invitation to the White House?
