Republican Meg Whitman has poured an additional $20 million into her campaign for governor, raising the total amount that she’s spent from her fortune to $59 million so far. The former CEO of eBay says she’s willing to spend up to $150 million of her own money to defeat state Attorney General Jerry Brown.
