The Los Angeles Times has a new profile of John Yoo, everyone’s favorite war criminal, as he spends a sabbatical in Orange County’s Chapman Law School, relatively free from constant reminders that some people still remember he cooked up the Bush administration’s brief enabling government thugs to torture people. Yoo’s got some choice words for Berkeley, now that he’s out of town for a bit. “At Berkeley,” Yoo told the Times, “if you had three or four people, weird people dressed up in costumes in the same place, that would just be like people in line buying coffee.” And lining up to throw it in your face, professor.
