The Asian-restaurant attacks continue. On December 23, a BART police sergeant on patrol was flagged down around 8 p.m. by someone who had just been robbed at gunpoint “at a local Asian restaurant,” according to the report.
The address given for the flag-down is 308 14th St. in Oakland. That’s the address of Hyang Won Korean Restaurant, home of seafood noodles and bi bim bop. Police believe that the armed robbers, “two males, are the suspects in a series of robberies of Asian restaurants in the East Bay. Trains were held at 12th St. station while a search was conducted unsuccessfully.”
They got away again.
