Famed comedian Dave Chappelle will descend on downtown Oakland again for two sets tonight, even though he ruffled a few feathers last year with some un-politically-correct tranny jokes. (Those might be kosher in the midwest, but in Oakland, anti-LGBT humor is considered outré.) But apparently, Bay Area fans are ready to forgive and forget. Chappelle’s show sold out within minutes of its announcement, according to local news blog SFist. Take heart, though. The waitlist it still open.
