Brown and Whitman’s Homes To Be Scanned for Solar

Oakland-based solar power provider, Sungevity, has decided to turn up the heat on Jerry Brown and Meg Whitman. The company plans to use its satellite technology to scan the rooftops of the two gubernatorial candidates’ homes, including Brown’s house in the Oakland hills. The company will then use the scans to determine the amount of greenhouse gases — and money — the two candidates could save if they installed solar panels on their homes.
