When Raiders coach Jon Gruden left Oakland for Tampa Bay, the first place Bay Area TV reporters went to get a fan reaction was Ricky’s. The bar’s walls are replete with Raiders memorabilia and the barstools are occupied by grizzled citizens of Raider Nation. In this joint, Niners fans risk ridicule and slander — if they’re lucky, that is. Ricky’s has pool tables, darts, and video games to keep you entertained if the sporting events aren’t enough. The place also serves a variety of discomfort foods ranging from the Ken “Snake” Stabler cheesesteak to the oh-so-healthy taco salad. But, hey, you don’t go to Ricky’s for the California cuisine; you go for the atmosphere and the seventy TV sets (including five big screens) and ten satellite dishes — more than enough to watch the Raiders and all the other NFL games on Sunday. This place is a must for fantasy football geeks.
