I didn’t think stuff like this happened in real life until it actually happened to my friend and me. We went to a fairly-well-reviewed restaurant in Albany for lunch. The plate she ordered came with a salad. When it came, she started to eat when she noticed something very unsaladlike right there amongst all the greenery — a moth. Dead, but unmistakably still a moth. Well, the chef noticed our consternation and decided to come to our table to see what was up. My friend pointed to the moth and the chef calmly said “Oh, it’s organic,” and proceeded to extract the moth from her plate with his fingers! And left the plate there for her to finish!!!!
