Funny thing was, he found an electric bike to help him rev up without breaking down. Even funnier, he found his calling in life to promote and sell electric bikes. Roseman, who lives in San Francisco, even calls himself the Chief Power Source for the electric bike industry — he’s that serious about helping the environment by getting blubbery post-boomers (that’s likely you) to pedal more and drive less. Roseman makes true believers out of our hill folk with his unusual business agreement with Justice Baxter of Montclair’s Wheels of Justice Cyclery. Roseman manages research, inventory, and repairs, while Baxter offers great store frontage and well-trained staff to tighten helmet straps before you zoom past all that damned snarl in the village. When the costs are calculated, e-bikes cost less per mile than a car. No wonder Roseman calls them transformation, not just transportation.
