The CoCo Times says that KTVU execs are planning to announce the departure of longtime news hottie, Leslie Griffith, who has mysteriously disappeared from the anchor seat in recent weeks. Griffith’s sudden exit last month has prompted much speculation about what precipitated her sudden absence. The newsletter for the local chapter of the National Television Academy reportedly says that her problems began when she complained about her script on-air, saying something to the effect of, “Can you believe how poorly this story is written?” PS.
