Cal Freshman Class Largest Ever

Here come the new UC Berkeley freshman: all 4,447 of them! According to the Daily Californian, this will be the tenth straight year that incoming freshman enrollment set new records. But don’t expect the next year to follow the same pattern; UC officials claim they don’t presently have the cash to support future increases in Cal enrollment. Nonetheless, we welcome our new generation of engineers and/or dirty hippies! Children are the future!
