Time for another one of those cognitive dilemmas, in which we’re forced to remember the times when we’re thankful Don Perata’s running the show up in Sacramento. Readers may recall that we’re stuck in this little thing known as The Worst Budget Crisis In California History, and Republican senators have repeatedly rejected a compromise plan, supported by both Perata and Schwarzenegger, because it temporarily raises sales taxes.
