More on the Berkeley EPA Scandal

The Chron columnist revisits the news that three West Berkeley schools near the Pacific Steel Casting company were listed by the EPA as among the nation’s most toxic schools, and wonders why the nearby Rosa Parks Elementary isn’t listed among them. In addition, a Bay Area air quality district representative claims that the EPA’s data so pointedly noticed by the media doesn’t meet standards for rigorous research, and that the toxic hot spots are still neighborhoods near the Chevron refinery and the Port of Oakland.
