New Legislation Could Slam Coffee Brews

New legislation designed to target caffeinated booze popular among teens could also ensnare brewers who infuse beer with coffee or espresso, the Chron reports. As we reported last week, craft-brew makers have already been hammered by different state regulations designed to go after so-called alcopops and “cheerleader beer.” And the new bill going through the Legislature could result in a double-whammy for local craft brewers.
