You certainly do not have to be an expert salsa dancer to enjoy a night of dancing to some of the greatest salsa tunes. In fact, over at La Peña, they are having a salsa party especially designed for those who are not the next champs of So You Think You Can Dance. Sure, it’s a Monday, but let’s face it, considering our current political climate, we all need a distraction. Get a partner and your dancing shoes, and start the night with a free beginner’s salsa class at 8, followed by a dance party at 9 with live music courtesy of Orquesta La Peña. The party is only $5, and of course there’s beer and wine to quench your thirst, so make sure to bring some cash.
