KFOG fans, get ready for Live From the Archives 13 — it goes on sale Saturday, Nov. 18. All day long today (“New Music Thursday”), the station will be playing cuts from the compilation, which, as always, benefits local food banks — including the Alameda County Community Food Bank. The album contains songs by Los Lonely Boys, Jack Johnson, Robert Plant, Keane, KT Tunstall, David Gray, Goo Goo Dolls, Feist, and more. Live From the Archives albums are always pressed in limited quanities, selling out in a matter of days and going on to become collecters’ items, especially if unopened and held as part of the complete series. If that’s your sort of thing, or if you or someone you know digs KFOG’s adult contemporary stylings, be ready on 11/18 to drop $16.99 at KFOG.com or the Virgin Megastore in San Francisco.
