If You Build It, Will They Come (to Pittsburg)?

The CoCo Times reports that a brewery is setting up shop in Pittsburg’s somewhat downtrodden Old Town, and that several restaurants are talking about following suit. A consultant paid by the city told the Times that Pittsburg “is an untapped market.” But many are skeptical of a resurgence, noting Pittsburg’s reputation for being a bit dicey. “This place is gonna get Robbed out of business,” read one anonymous post on the Times‘ Web site. “Im not taking my family anywhere near Pit Burg.”
