Berkeley Police Shooting Questioned

Berkeley police say a preliminary investigation shows the fatal shooting was justified because Anita Gay was wielding a knife toward her two daughters, according to reports in the Oakland Tribune and the San Francisco Chronicle. But neighbors told reporters that Officer Rashawn Cummings shot her unnecessarily in the back.
