Haas professor and widely recognized economics whiz Laura D’Andrea Tyson has been picked by Barack Obama to sit on the 15-member Economic Recovery Advisory Board, the Daily Cal reports. Former Federal Reserve chief Paul Volcker will chair the board, which will meet with Obama and offer a variety of recommendations on how to get the country out of this mess. Previously, Tyson was Bill Clinton’s national economic advisor from 1993-95.
