Local songwriter Kelley Stoltz will release a new album, To Dreamers, on October 12 on Sub Pop Records. According to the press release, Stoltz will veer away from his Beatles/Beach Boys sound for more “post-punk abandon”; “tasteful horn adornments blow against tom-tom beats and 12-string guitars meet reverbed mellotrons, under Stoltz’s warm vocals.” Hm, sounds promising.
